Strong market for mobile robotics

For Pilz Spain, founded in 1992, long-ter­mism is what mainly counts, both with cus­tomer rela­tions and with regard to its mis­sion to foster a safety cul­ture in the country. Every year, the sub­sidiary trains more than 600 machine man­u­fac­turers and oper­a­tors in machinery safety. In view of the increasing trend towards mobile robotics, Pilz in Spain is bundling its exper­tise in that area.

While on Euro­pean fac­tory floors it is normal for per­sonnel to feel safe when working on plant and machinery thanks to laws and stan­dards, in other places around the world there is still work to be done to con­vince people to carry out tech­nical safety mea­sures. Like in Japan, where Pilz Japan has been helping change minds for 25 years.

Por­tugal is the offi­cial partner country of this year’s Han­nover Messe. Within the Pilz Group, Pilz Por­tugal is already ­cel­e­brating its 20th anniver­sary and reflects how tra­di­tion and inno­va­tion go hand in hand in Western Europe.

Delivery capability has top priority

Bot­tle­necks and long delivery times are placing a mas­sive burden on the global economy. In order to manage this dif­fi­cult sit­u­a­tion, Pilz founded a cross-depart­mental task force back in autumn 2020.
