Faster digitisation

Digi­ti­sa­tion of rail trans­port? Of course! But how? At the Inno­Trans 2024 trade fair, Pilz will be pre­senting its new safe, mod­ular railway con­trol system for the dig­ital railway. With PSS­rail, digi­ti­sa­tion projects in the future can be imple­mented quickly and eco­nom­i­cally.

In step: Retrofit on the points

What can you do if the rail infra­struc­ture for regional and local trans­port is ageing, ham­pering the imple­men­ta­tion of attrac­tive clock-face sched­ules? When mod­ernising out­dated points con­trollers in Kraków and four other Polish cities, the com­pany ZUE put its trust in the automa­tion system PSS 4000. This now reli­ably and ­safely con­trols these points.

Full speed ahead

Everyone is talking about the Mobility Turn­around, meaning that railway oper­ating com­pa­nies around the world are facing the chal­lenge of digi­tising the entire rail net­work over the coming years. The aim? Railway oper­a­tions should become safer, better, simply rev­o­lu­tionised for cli­mate-neu­tral mobility. Pilz is there­fore expanding its product range for rail­ways and, with the estab­lish­ment of the Busi­ness Unit Rail, is bundling its global railway activ­i­ties.
