What is needed are modern, safe and envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally friendly tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies like those that are already com\u00admon\u00adplace in industry. Industry-tested system solu\u00adtions from Pilz are already being used in classic railway appli\u00adca\u00adtions such as switch con\u00adtrollers or railway cross\u00adings, as well as for areas of overlap between indus\u00adtrial and railway appli\u00adca\u00adtions. The strengths and expe\u00adri\u00adences that Pilz was already able to gather in indus\u00adtrial appli\u00adca\u00adtions are ide\u00adally suited to the exten\u00adsive require\u00adments of railway engi\u00adneering. The open inter\u00adfaces and stan\u00addard\u00adised Pilz solu\u00adtions have enor\u00admous poten\u00adtial for replacing pre\u00advi\u00adously pro\u00adpri\u00adetary railway appli\u00adca\u00adtions.\u201d The automa\u00adtion company\u2019s exper\u00adtise is also directed into railway-spe\u00adcific ser\u00advices such as project plan\u00adning and project man\u00adage\u00adment, pro\u00adgram\u00adming, doc\u00adu\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion and sup\u00adport in the approval process. This enables the use of man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adturer-inde\u00adpen\u00addent EULYNX stan\u00addards in existing inter\u00adlock\u00adings because the adapter estab\u00adlishes the com\u00adpat\u00adi\u00adbility between the inter\u00adlocking tech\u00adnology and the so-called object con\u00adtrollers. Dig\u00adital con\u00adtrol com\u00admands from inter\u00adlock\u00adings are trans\u00adlated by the object con\u00adtroller into ana\u00adlogue sig\u00adnals in the EULYNX stan\u00addard.
