The law that came into effect in the middle of last year on safety in pro\u00adduc\u00adtion (\u201cPro\u00adduc\u00adtion Safety Law of Peo\u00adples\u2019 Republic of China\u201d) com\u00adpels com\u00adpa\u00adnies to comply with national stan\u00addards. There are manda\u00adtory stan\u00addards and those that are con\u00adsid\u00adered rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fol\u00adlowing the reor\u00adgan\u00adi\u00adsa\u00adtion of stan\u00addard\u00adi\u00ads\u00ada\u00adtion in China, most manda\u00adtory stan\u00addards have become rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions. Cur\u00adrently, sev\u00aderal Pilz employees are working in Tech\u00adnical Com\u00admit\u00adtees (TC) to develop new manda\u00adtory stan\u00addards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I per\u00adson\u00adally am a member of sev\u00aderal dif\u00adferent TCs, including the National Tech\u00adnical Com\u00admittee 208 on Safety of Machinery Stan\u00addard\u00adiza\u00adtion Admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion of China (TC 208). There I am in charge of working group 4, which deals with safe con\u00adtrol sys\u00adtems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The topic is evolving very quickly and is con\u00adstantly gaining in impor\u00adtance. The will\u00ading\u00adness to invest in machinery safety is growing for many rea\u00adsons: The ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion towards people in pro\u00adduc\u00adtion is a guiding prin\u00adciple that is growing increas\u00adingly impor\u00adtant. Sec\u00adondly, The \u201cPro\u00adduc\u00adtion Safety Law\u201d is facil\u00adi\u00adtating this devel\u00adop\u00adment. Thirdly, costs for work acci\u00addents are con\u00adstantly increasing. And finally, both TC 208 as well as for\u00adeign com\u00adpa\u00adnies such as Pilz have con\u00adtinued to advance the idea of machinery safety over the last 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank to its spe\u00adcialist knowl\u00adedge and expe\u00adri\u00adence in safe automa\u00adtion tech\u00adnology, Pilz is making an impor\u00adtant con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtion to the devel\u00adop\u00adment of this topic in China. In 2004, Pilz was the first for\u00adeign com\u00adpany that became a member of TC 208. With train\u00adings, sem\u00adi\u00adnars and other ser\u00advices in the area of machinery safety, Pilz is con\u00adstantly making more people familiar with this topic.
