Diag\u00adnos\u00adtics, flex\u00adi\u00adbility and con\u00adnec\u00adtivity also form the basis that enables this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diag\u00adnos\u00adtics must be avail\u00adable to the user at any time, for example. They must speak plain lan\u00adguage and, above all, be acces\u00adsible regard\u00adless of loca\u00adtion. Cornerstone: Solution flexibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Indus\u00adtri\u00adalPI also rep\u00adre\u00adsents an easy-to-use solu\u00adtion for the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of Indus\u00adtrie 4.0 con\u00adcepts. It is an open, mod\u00adular indus\u00adtrial PC that uses Linux, a freely avail\u00adable open source soft\u00adware, as its oper\u00adating system and offers numerous expan\u00adsion mod\u00adules. As a result, the indus\u00adtrial PC can be used as a gateway in Indus\u00adtrial IoT envi\u00adron\u00adments (IIoT) or as a Soft PLC in the widest range of appli\u00adca\u00adtions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indus\u00adtri\u00adalPI from Pilz is an open, mod\u00adular indus\u00adtrial PC. It can be used both as a gateway and as a soft PLC for automa\u00adtion. \u00a9 Pilz GmbH & Co. KG, Ost\u00adfildern<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Two types are avail\u00adable, making it a flex\u00adible player: it is par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlarly suit\u00adable as a soft PLC for automa\u00adtion appli\u00adca\u00adtions. It con\u00adtrols plant and machinery: poten\u00adtial appli\u00adca\u00adtion areas would be portal machines used to sort bat\u00adtery cells or carton erec\u00adtors in the pack\u00adaging industry, for example. Flex\u00adible plant con\u00adcepts are also pos\u00adsible with the IOLS Master: four IO-Link Safety Ports (Class A) are avail\u00adable, plus an addi\u00adtional four ports, each with two con\u00adfig\u00adurable safe dig\u00adital inputs or out\u00adputs. The sen\u00adsors and actu\u00ada\u00adtors \u201cshare\u201d the same con\u00adnec\u00adtion, as needed. As a result, users can make their design more flex\u00adible, and\/or expand it. Ulti\u00admately, the flex\u00adi\u00adbility of the solu\u00adtion ensures that pro\u00adduc\u00adtion remains adapt\u00adable to dif\u00adferent require\u00adments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users can employ the Indus\u00adtri\u00adalPI as a gateway, data col\u00adlector and diag\u00adnostic unit in con\u00adjunc\u00adtion with the safe small con\u00adtroller PNOZ\u00admulti 2 and the automa\u00adtion system PSS 4000, because the indus\u00adtrial solu\u00adtion ensures data exchange between the Internet of Things and cloud ser\u00advices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
