Shortly after its market launch, the classic PIT\u00admode was in series use at Starrag and has proven itself to this day as a reli\u00adable, easy-to-use oper\u00adating mode selec\u00adtion and access per\u00admis\u00adsion system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flexible and safe key systems as state of the art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rigid key sys\u00adtems are pass\u00e9. Modern oper\u00adating mode selec\u00adtion and access per\u00admis\u00adsion sys\u00adtems such as PIT\u00admode from Pilz have already met with broad approval among machine and plant oper\u00ada\u00adtors in recent years. Dif\u00adferent oper\u00adating modes require coor\u00addi\u00adnated com\u00adpe\u00adten\u00adcies and clearly defined user rights. For example these include set-up or retooling, checking the required func\u00adtions on the work\u00adpiece, mon\u00adi\u00adtoring quality levels, and ser\u00advice and main\u00adte\u00adnance tasks. The aim is this: to ensure that oper\u00ada\u00adtors are as safe as pos\u00adsible in their respec\u00adtive work sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion, and to ensure that sys\u00adtems are nei\u00adther dam\u00adaged nor stand idle for long periods of time in the event of acci\u00addental or even delib\u00aderate misuse. When Starrag was faced with updating its Heckert com\u00adpact machines, opti\u00admising the oper\u00adating and safety con\u00adcept was also included. The highly com\u00adplex 5\u2011axis hor\u00adi\u00adzontal machining cen\u00adtres with inte\u00adgrated tool mag\u00ada\u00adzine take on a multi-stage task set of turning, drilling and milling. Among other things, they man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adture and process engine casting blocks or tur\u00adbine blades with com\u00adplex geome\u00adtries for the avi\u00ada\u00adtion industry. Max\u00adimum pre\u00adci\u00adsion and effi\u00adcient process work\u00adflows are equally in demand. Inte\u00adgrated safety solu\u00adtions such as PIT\u00admode ensure the integrity of human and machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From classic to \u201cfuture\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With PIT\u00admode classic, users have access to a keypad with four oper\u00adating modes and a key inter\u00adface. How\u00adever, the keys with the indi\u00advidual oper\u00adating modes were pre\u00adde\u00adfined and could not be cus\u00adtomised. The idea and aim was an inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive, flex\u00adible and cus\u00adtomis\u00adable entry and access man\u00adage\u00adment system that covers Safety and Secu\u00adrity aspects in equal mea\u00adsure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
