Thanks to the point-to-point com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion, wiring of the safety sen\u00adsors is also much easier to imple\u00adment. At the same time, the system can be used flex\u00adibly as con\u00adven\u00adtional safety sen\u00adsors, IO-Link Safety sen\u00adsors and IO-Link devices can all be con\u00adnected. And because com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion gen\u00ader\u00adally occurs via unshielded cables and IO-Link Safety uses industry-stan\u00addard con\u00adnec\u00adtions, fewer cables are needed.
